Can a dog survive antifreeze poisoning if its treated more than 12 hours after ingestion? - 48 hours after antifreeze poisoning dog

My dog antifreeze Friday night and couldnt be a trip to the vet and get the antidote, and so up to 14 hours after dosing. The blood test also shows anti-freeze and get a lot. For over 48 hours back and kidneys are working well ..... Is it out of danger?

Antifreeze is now safe ... Prestone is that I always think deadly for dogs ... Read the bottle and make sure the insurance for pets ... I always take them on a test ..

No general, kidney damage after 8 hours, you can continue to operate, but there are a lot of damage. Your veterinarian can still on intravenous fluids and medications make a contribution to combat the toxins, but the damage had been done.

You want with your veterinarian to discuss this issue. Does your dog insurance? I can imagine that the majority of costs could be associated with something much more if your dog goes through connected.

Oh dear, sorry. I think you should ask your veterinarian / veterinary technician, which was expected, we could not guess. I pray that your dog is beautiful

Maybe the dog is safe antifreeze?

N pray - that it survives. This is not a good sign of recovery.
